Tori was raised along with her older sister Brooke Anderson in Edmonton, by their mother Sheelagh, and their father whose name is not revealed. She attended Frances Kelsey Secondary School in Mill Bay, British Columbia, and inclined toward acting during her junior year. Tori worked from her early teens, when she was cast in the Stephen King plagiarism anthology In the Parlor, within the name of the teenager in such a series of science fiction and fantasy, such as The Twilight Zone and Tru Calling .
At an age when she could still go to high school, she once again turned her focus to the profession, appearing in a single scene of the series Smallville , as well as in a single scene of the romantic adventure series.
